Kagoshima (aussi connue sous son ancien nom, Satsuma) est la capitale de la préfecture de Kagoshima. Elle est située à l’extrémité de l’île de Kyushu au Japon, et c’est la plus grande ville de la préfecture. Kagoshima est une ville avec des palmiers, de larges avenues et un temps chaud et tempéré. C’est pour cette raison qu’elle est souvent comparée à sa soeur italienne, Naples. Un des meilleurs endroits pour admirer la ville est depuis la grande roue au-dessus de Amu Plaza, le nouveau centre commercial attaché à la gare centrale de Kagoshima.
